LoloBuy Shipping Guide: Parcel Planning, Route Checks and ShipCare Facts

A practical guide to consolidating warehouse items, comparing shipping routes, understanding chargeable weight and reading ShipCare terms.

01

Shipping begins before parcel submission

LoloBuy’s public homepage says items from different sellers are sent to its China warehouse and that buyers may select stored products to submit together as a parcel. Good shipping decisions therefore begin while choosing products. Item dimensions, fragile construction, retail packaging and restricted materials can affect the available routes and the final charge.

A cheap product can become an expensive parcel when it is bulky. Shoes with boxes, thick jackets and protective packaging occupy space even when their scale weight is low. Keep an estimated delivered budget from the beginning. Product cost, mainland-China freight, optional services, international freight, protection and destination charges are separate parts of the decision.

02

Decide what should travel together

Consolidation can reduce repeated handling and combine several warehouse items into one shipment. It is not automatically best to place everything in one parcel. Product restrictions, size limits, fragility and declared value can make separate parcels more practical. A battery product may have different route options from ordinary clothing. A fragile item may need protection that increases volume.

Group items with compatible shipping needs. Review each warehouse entry and remove products you do not intend to ship. Check storage dates. LoloBuy’s homepage currently advertises 180 days free of storage charge, but the live warehouse page should be treated as the final rule for a specific account and item.

03

Actual weight and volumetric weight

Carriers need to price both mass and aircraft or vehicle space. Depending on the route, the chargeable figure may be actual scale weight, volumetric weight or another line-specific rule. Volumetric weight is calculated from parcel dimensions using a carrier divisor. Because divisors vary, do not copy a formula from an unrelated route and assume it applies.

The practical lesson is simple: measure both weight and space. Removing an unnecessary shoe box may reduce volume, but it can also reduce protection. Vacuum packing may compress suitable clothing but should not be assumed safe for every item. Repacking or rehearsal services, where offered, can provide a better estimate of the packed parcel before the final route decision.

04

Compare routes on more than price

LoloBuy’s homepage says around 100 logistics routes are available. The useful question is not how many exist, but which routes accept the parcel and destination today. Compare permitted product categories, chargeable-weight rule, size limits, estimated transit range, tracking, last-mile delivery, compensation terms and customs notes.

A lower estimate may involve stricter limits or less suitable tracking. A faster-looking line may not accept the item category. Route names and availability can change, so use the options displayed for the packed parcel. Save a screenshot of the selected route and its terms before payment. That record is more reliable than a recommendation written for another country or month.

05

Use delivery estimates carefully

Transit ranges are planning information, not guaranteed arrival dates unless a written service term explicitly says otherwise. Parcels can be affected by warehouse processing, flight capacity, security checks, customs, weather, local holidays and last-mile delivery. Track milestones rather than refreshing the page without context.

If timing matters, leave a margin. Do not order close to a fixed event and assume the shortest estimate will occur. Confirm the delivery address, recipient name and telephone number. LoloBuy’s ShipCare exclusions say loss or damage caused by incorrect consignee information leading to failed customs clearance or delivery is not covered, so accuracy is both practical and relevant to protection.

06

Declared value, customs and local responsibility

Customs decisions are made by destination authorities, not by a spreadsheet or product database. Product category, quantity, value, documentation and local law can influence assessment. Buyers should provide truthful information and check destination rules before submission. Taxes and duties are separate from an international shipping estimate unless the selected route explicitly states a particular handling method.

ShipCare’s announcement says customs-seizure coverage does not apply when confiscation results from the consignee failing to follow local customs procedures, including non-payment of duties or taxes. It also lists prohibited, restricted and non-insurable categories. Protection is not permission to ship unlawful or incorrectly declared goods.

07

What ShipCare is

LoloBuy’s August 2026 announcement defines ShipCare as an optional paid value-added protection service for parcel shipping. It lists four coverages: parcel loss, damage or partial loss, customs seizure and delivery delay. The exact coverages available can depend on the shipping line. The announcement says the service-fee rate ranges from 5% to 6% and uses the formula: merchandise value plus international shipping fee, multiplied by the applicable rate.

That range is not a universal quote for every parcel. Read the rate and compensation promise displayed when selecting the line. The announcement says compensation may vary by route and is paid according to that line’s service commitment. Multiple coverages do not mean the same event can be claimed repeatedly.

08

Cancellation and coverage period

The public announcement says ShipCare can be cancelled and refunded when the parcel is cancelled before dispatch from the warehouse. Once dispatched, coverage becomes effective immediately and normally cannot be cancelled separately. Domestic and international returns do not qualify for a refund of the coverage fee according to the announcement.

Coverage continues until the goods reach the destination in the service order and ends when the consignee or agent receives or signs for them. Theft or loss after delivery is listed as an exclusion. Read the parcel-specific terms because the official notice also says coverage is valid only for the corresponding parcel and cannot be transferred.

09

Evidence and claim deadlines

The announcement says a whole-parcel loss claim must be filed within 30 days from the carrier’s loss certificate. Damage or partial-loss claims must be filed within three days of receiving the parcel. It directs users to submit through Parcel Details – Protection Service and says a dedicated representative assists with claims.

Required evidence can include the parcel tracking number, transaction proof, value evidence, a list of affected items, incident photographs and other accepted documents. For damage or partial loss, a complete, unedited, continuous unboxing video beginning before opening is mandatory. Start recording with the shipping label and all sides visible, then keep the parcel in frame through opening and inspection. Do not edit clips together.

10

Important exclusions

ShipCare lists many non-insurable categories, including certain valuables, virtual goods, tobacco, controlled substances, perishables, dangerous goods and items restricted by transport or government rules. It also states that electronic and 3C products are excluded from damage or partial-loss compensation. The full list is longer than a simple summary, so read it before paying.

Other exclusions include incorrect recipient information, failure to accept delivery in time, tracking that shows delivered for a loss claim, failure to follow customs procedures, missing evidence, late claims, customer fault, inherent product defects and force-majeure events. A forwarded order’s compensation cannot exceed its declared value according to the notice. These limits are why protection should be read as a contract, not a general promise.

11

A safer parcel-submission routine

Before payment, confirm the item list, packed dimensions, chargeable weight, destination, recipient details, route restrictions, estimated transit range and current protection terms. Save screenshots. After dispatch, monitor official tracking and respond promptly to customs or carrier requests. Before delivery, prepare to record the unopened parcel if a damage claim might need an unboxing video.

This routine is not complicated. It simply puts written evidence around the important moments. The official account page controls the transaction; community estimates and older examples are useful only for comparison. Choose a route because it fits the parcel and destination, not because it was cheapest for someone else.

  • Group only route-compatible items
  • Compare actual and volumetric weight
  • Read product restrictions and destination rules
  • Verify recipient name, address and phone
  • Save the selected route and protection terms
  • Record a continuous unboxing video when protection rules require it
